Tour of the marinas of Grou

Your route starts at Paviljoen PrikMar. Grou is a beautiful old town on the Pikmeer, one of the Frisian Lakes. You can admire, among other things, the Romanesque thirteenth-century St. Peter's Church. You make a nice round around the village, along the shore of the Pikmeer. Grou is a real water sports village, with four different harbours: the Pikmeerhaven, the Hellingshaven, the Nieuwe Kade and the Súderkade. Wonderful holiday feeling, all those boats! Grou is also the cradle of contemporary Skûtsjesilen. Sailing enthusiasts enjoy following the battle between the old freighters every year. The annual battle always starts in Grou with the official start and draw on Friday evening, and the competition on Saturday. Have a nice time! You walk back through the picturesque center of Grou.
