Round Texel from De Cocksdorp

This route starts at Eethuus Van het Wad in De Cocksdorp, where you can enjoy Waddende delicacies. Your bike ride today takes you along the edges of Texel. You also drive through National Park Duinen van Texel. You will find plenty of variety here between dunes and forest. On the east side of the island you can walk up the dike to enjoy the wide view over the meadows, the Wadden Sea and the mainland. You pass polder windmill Het Noorden and drive through Oudeschild. In this village you can see the corn mill De Traanroeier from 1902 and the Zeemanskerkje from 1650. Along the coastline you drive to the picturesque Den Hoorn. Near junction 10 you can see the white church tower of the Reformed Church, a beautiful sight!
