Tour Denekamp and Landgoed Singraven

Your route starts at Papillon Country Resort. You can enjoy a lovely walk through the typical Twente coulisse landscape. Nearby you will discover Denekamp, a beautiful town where you will find nice sights and the characteristic Twente geniality. You walk through Denekamp for a bit, where you can see the old Sint-Nicolaaskerk and the Town Hall from 1920. In the outlying area you walk through the park-like landscape of Landgoed Singraven. You walk through a mosaic of park forest, grasslands and the Dinkel, a river that still meanders in the old-fashioned way. The current country house dates from the seventeenth century, the current Mill of Singraven from 1880. The water mill of Singraven consists of three waterwheels with several mills: an oil mill that now houses a restaurant, a flour mill and a sawmill.
