Eempolder Waaienronde with bird hut

Wonderful polder walk in a very bird-rich area. Both meadow birds and birds in the Gooimeer, which can be seen from a bird hut above the water. Fans are round deep pools that were created by old dike breaches. They are clearly recognizable in the landscape. Some are more than 10m deep, with large carp swimming in them. In spring and summer sheep walk on the dike. From February to mid-April there are thousands of geese. Start and end point is the cozy tea garden of Eemnes where you can also park.
