Tour of Schoorl, Bergen, Alkmaar and Broeker Veiling

Soon you will pass the Broeker Veiling. The monumental wooden auction building from 1912 now serves as a museum, so a nice stop! Alkmaar is known as a real Dutch cheese city, but has more to offer. The historic city center, for example, where no fewer than 399 national monuments are located. Get off and stroll through the beautiful old streets. You will drive along the Schoorlse dunes, on the edge are cozy villages such as Bergen and Schoorl. In the artist village of Bergen you will see stately old buildings. The Van Reenenpark is a deer park from 1912, built on the site of the racecourse of the former estate Heerlijkheid Bergen.
