Tour of Geestmerambacht: along the water

Your route starts at EuroParcs Molengroet. Geestmerambacht is beautifully embedded in the landscape, on the transition between the urban fringe and agricultural area. This recreation and nature reserve consists of a lot of water, but you will also find a park-like landscape where you can enjoy walking and cycling. Along the way you can enjoy a lot of variety with bushes, reeds and meadows full of flowers. You will come across all kinds of plant species and the fauna is also well represented: you can just come across a Scottish Highlander! Or maybe you will find a buzzard, kingfisher or fox in your path. Many prey animals live here, such as mice and worms. In the autumn, the dead trees provide many beautiful mushrooms.
