Tour of IJssel and Hof te Dieren

Your route starts at EuroParcs Marina Strandbad. From here you can walk along the water of the IJssel, which you cross to Dieren. Here you will discover B16 - Dieren - Hof te Dieren. The estate came into the possession of monastic knights of the Teutonic Order in 1218. Stadtholder William II bought it in 1647. Until the construction of Het Loo, this was the favorite hunting lodge of the House of Orange. The hunting lodge no longer exists, but you will find a vineyard there, surrounded by a brick wall from 1885 of 2.75 meters high. Due to the wall and a belt of trees of 30 to 40 meters high beech and oak, the wind hardly has any influence on the vineyard. Red, white and rosé wines are made in the traditional way in the organic vineyard.
