From here you can walk along the water of the IJssel, which you cross to Dieren. Here you will discover B16 - Dieren - Hof te Dieren. The estate came into the possession of monastery knights of the Teutonic Order in 1218. Stadtholder Willem II bought it in 1647. Until the construction of Het Loo, this was the favorite hunting lodge of the House of Orange. The hunting lodge no longer exists, but you will find a vineyard there, surrounded by a 2.75 meter high brick wall from 1885. Because of the wall and a belt of trees of 30 to 40 meter high beeches and oaks, the wind has hardly any effect on the vineyard. Red, white and rosé wines are made in the organic vineyard in the traditional way.
Tour tip; Hiking with kids! Routes up to 5 km are ideal
