Description
Get to know the former island of Wieringen and the Amstelmeer, a beautiful place that is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Wadden. During the ride, enjoy the tranquility that the area brings and marvel at the characteristic villages. The route starts and ends in the Waddenpoort Den Oever, this is also the place where the Wadden viewpoint is located
Tip: Do you like birds? Then make a stop at the Normerven bird viewing site. At the Koningsweg, turn right onto Normerweg and cycle to the end. Here you will find the bird watching spot.
Tip: Along the way you may encounter farm shops & stalls. There you can find tulips, fresh fruit, sheep's wool and dairy products.
