Description
Get to know Turnhout and the immediate surroundings. On this short cycle route you mainly cycle through the city of Turnhout, although you also visit Vosselaar and the piece of heath outside it.
National Museum Of The Playing Card
This bike tour starts in the middle of the center. Here you can take a look at St. Peter's Church on the Grote Markt or the National Museum of the Playing Card. Printed playing cards originate from Turnhout and the city is therefore one of the most important producers of them. In the museum you will learn more about the history, use and manufacture of playing cards. You will also find printing presses and graphic equipment including a gigantic steam engine. Then you cycle through the Stadspark. A lovely relaxing place with a large pond, several benches where you can rest and terraces.

From here you cycle on to Vosselaar, where you will find a remarkable sand dune in the middle of the center. Via a cycle path along the canal you cycle back into the center of Turnhout. Here you can settle down on a terrace to relax while enjoying a snack or a drink. Or visit one of the many attractions within walking distance.
