Description

This route takes you from Lower Saxony, Germany, through Twente. In the German Nordhorn you can see the villas that the former textile barons had built. There is a Gothic hall church from 1445 on the market. You cycle via the Bergvennen into the beautiful Springendal. This nature reserve is nicknamed the 'Garden of the Netherlands'. You can indulge yourself romantically with the beautiful views and winding spring streams. Further on, get off at Camping Dal Van De Mosbeek & Theeschenkerij De Manderie! In Uelsen you will see beautiful Saxon half-timbered houses and historic churches. Neuenhaus is the second oldest town in this region. In this beauty located on the Dinkel you can spot many characteristic old buildings, the old town hall is especially beautiful.
