Description
Dog walk 8.5 km
- Leave the Forelderij on the left.
- At the paved road, follow the dirt road across the street. You will come across untamed horses on the right.
- Go straight on at the five-way junction, follow the paved cycle path. To the right of this often deer.
- At the end of this path turn left and then cross the Jacobsrietweg and follow the cycle and footpath to the left.
- You have two options for the following path:
- turn right, keep on a leash, follow the first paved cycle and footpath in a meandering way to the exit Hetjesslat. Here to the right. You then walk across the Rutbeek, here is a leash order.
- A little further on, turn right into the Usselerveenweg. Then take the first dirt road on the right. The Hegebeekweg. Follow this to the second exit to the right. Then left towards Hetjesslat. Leash order from now on.
- Follow walking and cycling path. Turn left before the wooden gate (end of leash law) and follow the paved road. This splits into a cycle path and the road continues to the left. Follow the latter.
- At the dirt road junction, turn right and follow Oude Buurserdijk.
- Go straight on at the dirt road intersection, continue on Oude Buurserdijk.
- Second dirt road on the right, into Usselerrietweg.
- Take the first dirt road to the left, follow the Snuversdijk.
- Cross the paved road and continue on to Snuversdijk.
- Just before busy Haaksbergerstraat there is a pond on the right and then a right onto a footpath.
- Follow this path, bending right once and left once.
- Turn right on the next sandy path. You are then back at the starting point.
- With the untrained horses: Watch your dog. Horse poop is attractive, there is enough in the meadow. But the horses kick at your dog.
- Farmers do not like it when your dog walks through the meadow or hayfield and does his business there. Then the feed production is not clean.
