Tour of Zoeterwoude and Hazerswoude

Your route starts at Farm't Geertje, where you can immediately take something tasty with you for the road. The polders between Zoetermeer, Leidschendam and Zoeterwoude consist of meadows that are separated from each other by numerous ditches and creeks. This beautiful water-rich route leads you along the water, through typical Dutch landscapes: the Green Heart at its best. Historic farms, beautiful lakes... it is so wonderful to cycle in our own little frog country. Along the Weipoortse Vliet you can see the impressive seventeenth-century farms of the hamlet of Weipoort. Via Hazerswoude-Dorp, with the beautiful village church from 1646, you cycle to the Rietveldse Molen, a polder mill from 1648. The Zoetermeerse Plas has a depth of 40 metres, it is an old sand extraction site. Now you look out over the rippling water.
