The starting point of this route, located on the Pietersheim estate, is equipped with a brasserie and information center about the Hoge Kempen National Park behind it. Bring your own bike and park your car in the free parking lot of the petting zoo. Don't have a bike? No need to panic! There is a bike rental point on this estate with a wide range of both city bikes and electric bikes. From here your route starts that takes you through this beautiful region in Limburg. Along the way, nature treats you to a pallet of diverse landscapes. You will even find a piece of history in the presence of the old moated castle. The rampart and inner moat of this impressive castle ruin are still clearly recognizable. You will also see the chapel that dates from the fourteenth century. Of course, there is so much more to discover. Because Domein Pietersheim is one of the gateways to the Hoge Kempen National Park, there is something for everyone. Even mountain bikers can enjoy themselves to their heart's content on the 200 km of unpaved paths.
