Description
With the Oertijdpad you can experience the history of life from the Ice Age to the present day in a digital walking route of 13.5 km over the Hondsrug. The route takes you past mammoths, dolmens and the first farms in this region.
Parking
The route starts at the Hunebedcentrum. There is ample parking here. Do you want to get to the starting point of the route by public transport? The nearest bus stop is'Borger Rotonde\\'. From here it is about a 15 minute walk to the starting point.

In Drouwen and Borger you can enjoy delicious food and drinks or recharge your phone (and yourself) at various locations.
Gijs Klompmaker of the Hunebedcentrum is your digital guide, he tells about the way of life of the inhabitants of the past, the landscape and the flora and fauna. You can pre-download the videos and stories to use less mobile data on the go. At every point of interest (POI) you will find a video message from Gijs about your location.
