Round Polderpad through the Prielenbos

Your route starts at Farm't Geertje, where you can immediately take something tasty with you for the road. Nearby you will discover the Zoetermeerse Plas. This lake has a deepest point of 40 meters, it is an old sand extraction. Now you look out over the rippling water. On the north side of the lake you walk through the Prielenbos, a nice rough swamp forest. It is known for many bird species, can you hear them? If you walk here around dusk, you might spot one of the owls! You walk on the dike of the Meerpolder, past the evolution garden and through the Geerpolder.
