Your route starts at Het Polderhuis, museums & more. This fun route through the Westkappelse forest takes you to a raft across the creek. From the Polderhuis you walk towards the Hoge Licht lighthouse. This can be climbed, you can buy tickets at your starting point. The section between junctions 65 and 42 is not accessible to dogs due to stray horses and/or cows. From junction 41 you walk along the creek, on a beautiful and quiet walking path. At the end there is a raft waiting to take you to the other side. After crossing the road, you continue walking along the creek, which was created by the bombing of the sea wall in 1944. Many birds breed here, you might even see a kingfisher!
