Walking along Lemele and Regge

Extensive silent forests, a picturesque stream valley and beautiful panoramas: this hike takes you through the beautiful surroundings of the Lemelerberg and the Reggedal. A hundred years ago, the Lemelerberg was an area devoured by sheep. When the herd disappeared, the mountain slowly grew thick with forest. To preserve the remaining heathlands, a herd of Veluwe heath sheep has been grazing there again since the 1980s. Is it a bit foggy? The irregular shapes you see are juniper bushes, not white wives.
