Tour of Eijsden and Valkenburg from Gulpen

The Limburg hilly landscape is a true paradise for cyclists. Every now and then you have to climb a bit, but you get a breathtaking view in return. After starting in Gulpen you will soon pass Neuburg Castle. A little further on you will discover Groenendaal, a brick farm with a courtyard. You will see a beautiful gate pavilion from 1823. Via the nice villages of Banholt and Meer you cycle to the Maas. Eijsden is a beautiful old village, be sure to stop here to soak up the atmosphere. Eijsden Castle dates from the 17th century, it is a good example of Maasland architecture. Stop in Gronsveld at De Kwizzenjer! You continue along Amby, a beautiful old district of Maastricht. Via Valkenburg and Schin op Geul you cycle back to your starting point.
