Tour of Eijsden and Valkenburg from Gulpen

The Limburg hilly landscape is a true paradise for cyclists. Occasionally it takes some climbing, but in return you get a breathtaking view. After you start in Gulpen you will soon pass Neuburg Castle. A little further on you will discover Groenendaal, a brick farm with a courtyard. You will see a beautiful gate pavilion from 1823. You drive to the Maas via the nice villages of Banholt and Meer. Eijsden is a beautiful old village, be sure to stop here to experience the atmosphere. Eijsden Castle dates from the 17th century and is a good example of Maasland architecture. Get off at De Kwizzenjer in Gronsveld! You continue past Amby, a beautiful old district of Maastricht. You cycle back to your starting point via Valkenburg and Schin op Geul.
