Tour of the Holy Triangle and star forest Warande

Your route starts at Smaak Lokaal. Here you immediately enter Boswachterij Dorst. In Oosterhout you pass through the Holy Triangle. There are three abbeys in this protected villagescape: the Abbey of Our Lady, the Saint Paul's Abbey and the Catherine Valley, which is located in the centuries-old small castle De Blauwe Camer. What a special place! You then cycle through the rural area and the leafy banks of the Wilhelmina Canal to Dongen and Tilburg. You drive along the edge of the Oude Warande, built in 1712, one of the few well-preserved star forests in the Netherlands. You follow a section of Bels Lijntje, a cycle path over a former railway connection to Belgium, through the greenery. You drive back to your starting point in Rijen via the small village of Heikant.
