Four villages route Rijen, Molenschot, Gilze and Hulten

Your route starts at Smaak Lokaal. Today you make a nice round along the villages of Rijen, Molenschot, Gilze and Hulten. In Rijen's Hoofdstraat you can see several monumental houses and two former tanneries. The area around the station is also picturesque. Via the hamlet of Hulten you drive past fields and meadows to Gilze. Here you will also see some beautiful villas and old farms. On the Kerkstraat you can see the restored Flemish Barn, which originally dates from 1647. It served as a shelter for some time. On the Nieuwstraat you pass Maalderij't Stoom, a former steam mill from 1892. In the middle of Molenschot you will find the Sint Annakerk from 1887. The Sint-Annakapel dates from 1842, but had a predecessor that was built in 1549.
