Tour of the Most Beautiful Mud Pool and Stelkampsveld near Borculo

From the starting point you walk straight through nature to the Most Beautiful Mud Pool! This is a real election where animal friendliness is of paramount importance. On hot summer days it is very important for pigs to be able to cool off in a mud puddle. The election puts farmers in the spotlight who give pigs this opportunity. You walk back via a beautiful route through the forest. Here you can cool off in the summer, in the shade of the trees! Stelkampsveld nature reserve is a beautiful varied area with forest, grassland, heathland with fens, high-altitude small fields. You will also see winding sandy paths on the Beekvliet estate. Rare plants such as parnassia, bell gentian and the spotted orchid space make it a Natura 2000 area.
