Description
You drive through the Zeeland landscape with its small villages and take a look at the Canal through Zuid-Beveland that connects the Westerschelde with the Oosterschelde. From the dike you have a beautiful view over the water and the ships. Past Kattendijke you drive along the Oosterschelde. Climb the dike for a nice panorama. Further on you drive through the cozy harbor of Wemeldinge. Finally you drive through the Kapelse Moer. This old land forms one of the last pieces of authentic Zeeland polder landscape! In Yerseke you can also visit the Oosterschelde Museum Yerseke that is located in the former town hall from 1914. Nearby you also pass the remains of the fourteenth-century Sint-Odulphuskerk.
