Tour of Kattendijke and Wemeldinge from Yerseke

Your route starts at Scooter Huren Zeeland. You drive through the Zeeland landscape with its small villages and take a look at the Canal through Zuid-Beveland that connects the Western Scheldt with the Oosterschelde. From the dike you have a beautiful view over the water and the ships. Past Kattendijke you drive along the Oosterschelde. Climb the dike for a nice panorama. Further on you drive through the pleasant harbor of Wemeldinge. Finally, you drive through the Kapelse Moer. This old land is one of the last pieces of authentic Zeeland polder landscape! In Yerseke you can visit the Oosterschelde Museum Yerseke, which is located in the former town hall from 1914. Nearby you will also pass the remains of the fourteenth-century St. Odulphus Church.
