Your route starts at Camping De Drie Morgen, right on the Nieuwe Driemanspolder. The perfect base to explore this area! The original Driemanspolder is not that new: it dates back to 1668, the time when Zoetermeer was still a real lake. The polder is named after the three men who were chosen from a group of investors every year to form the management. In recent years, this polder has been transformed into an area for water storage, nature and recreation. Hence the name Nieuwe Driemanspolder. You will discover various paths, enjoy nature and spot all kinds of birds. The area is still in full development, so there is always something new to see. Nice to come back regularly!
