Your route starts at Camping De Drie Morgen, right on the Nieuwe Driemanspolder. The perfect base to explore this area! The original Driemanspolder is not that new: it dates from 1668, the time when Zoetermeer was still a real lake. The polder is named after the three men who were chosen each year from a group of investors to form the board. In recent years, this polder has been transformed into an area for water storage, nature and recreation. Hence the name Nieuwe Driemanspolder. You will discover different paths, enjoy nature and spot all kinds of birds. The area is still developing, so there is always something new to see. Nice to come back regularly!
