Tour of Biesbosch from Lage Zwaluwe

The route starts at Poort naar de Biesbosch in Lage Zwaluwe. From here you take a beautiful trip through De Biesbosch, one of the few freshwater areas in the world where there is an ebb and flow. You reach the area via a ferry, always fun! From the dike you have beautiful views over the many waters and meadows. If you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of the osprey and white-tailed eagle that occasionally come to hunt here. Stop at the information center along the route to find out everything about this special area. You drive along the water in the direction of Geertruidenberg, where you cross the Bergse Maas. Geertruidenberg itself is a beautiful old town, nice to stroll through.
