Description
The island of Fur in the middle of the Limfjord is made for cyclists and hikers. You can sail there from the mainland in about 4 minutes.
From the Fur Havn port, three cycle routes and a total of approximately 100 km of roads spread over the 22 km2 of the natural island. The blue marked coastal route - Fur Rundt - takes you along the coast and allows you to get close to the beautiful cliffs of the island. Tip: keep an eye on Google Maps where the Knudeklint and Steilklippe are, because the last part requires a walk.
Alternatively, you can choose the green hill route that goes straight to the top of Fur or the red route that takes you past shops, galleries and exhibitions.
