Description
We start this route at the Meeting Church in Krimpen aan de Lek. The 1st stop will be at"de Hooiberg\\\" in the Loet. A delicious lunch is waiting for you here.
We continue the route to the beautiful village of Lekkerkerk. The 2nd stop is at the bicycle ferry.
We sail over to Nieuw-Lekkerland. Here we look for the'new\\\' dike and continue it until you see the 1st mill of Kinderdijk AND a kind of electricity house on the left. This will be the 3rd stop. We walk towards the 1st mill. See for yourself where you think it's best to leave your bike.
At this stop we are welcomed by Richard Slagboom. Together with a colleague, he will tell us about the flora and fauna of the mill area.
Once back at the bikes, we turn left back onto the dike in the direction of Kinderdijk to the car ferry and we sail over to Krimpen aan de Lek. Our bike tour ends at, you guessed it, the church!!!
