Tour Kraggenburg, Vollenhove and St. Jansklooster

The cycle route starts at Netl de Wildste Tuin Family Park. From here you cycle towards Kraggenburg. You immediately turn left into the Voorsterbos. Have a picnic and enjoy the beautiful forest. Then you cycle into the old country. You will pass nice places: the historic port town of Vollenhove and St. Jansklooster on the Beulakerwijde. Get off here in front of the visitor center'de Wieden\\\', where you can learn everything about the special nature. Take a lunch break in St. Jansklooster at Cafe Restaurant Wapen van Utrecht! You then drive back into the polder where at junction 14 you see a striking elevation in the landscape: Oud Kraggenburg (not always open). Oud-Kraggenburg is a former artificial island in the Zuiderzee. The monumental light keeper's house dates from 1877. You drive back to the starting point via Kraggenburg.
