Thursday-2014 Cycling Four Days Oldenzaal, South Berghuizen

Route Description of the four-day event itself:

1.
Go RA Burgemeester Wallerstraat and immediately RA Stakenkamplaan, goi Bloemenkamplaan.
2.
At the end follow the path to the left and immediately to the right along the stream, which is Harinkweg.
3.
After 560 meters crossing the LA track is Koppelboerweg.
4.
T-junction RA remains Koppelboerweg, after 1 km it changes into Kruiseltlaan at"de Wilmersbergen\\\\".
5.
At the end, after 1.4 km, follow the cycle path along the main road to the right.
6.
After 180 meters cross LA (be careful) and turn into Paasbergweg.
7.
After 250 meters continue to follow RA Paasbergweg.
8.
For farm (550mtr)"de Reuver\\\" sharp RA.
9.
After the stable LA cycle path (80 meters), Steïpad.
10.
After 380 meters keep to the left path.
11.
At the end RA is Duivendalweg.
12.
At the end LA Populierendijk.
13.
After 1.1 km RA Voortmansweg.
14.
At the intersection, follow the RD road after 475 meters.
15.
At the end RA is Paandersdijk.
16.
After 1.1km LA Schoolweg.
17.
At the end turn right and then immediately turn left Beuningerstraat.
18.
After 150 meters there is a control on the left of the road.
19.
Control: Restaurant Het Sterrebos.
20.
25-KM: With Sterrebos in the back, follow LA Beuningerstraat, then continue with point 77.
21.
40/60-KM: Opposite Sterrebos into the Oude Dijk, via bicycle tunnel (1.4 km) to junction 53.
22.
At junction 53, LA Everwijnstraat, go to Slotsdijk.
23.
At the RD intersection and in the bend, keep right on Harwichsdijk.
24.
T-junction LA Molendijk.
25.
Cross the main road and then turn RD.
26.
Turn into Ellenweg and keep left after 50 meters.
27.
At the T-junction cross Ootmarsumsestraat and follow the LA cycle path.
28.
After 200 meters follow the Nieuwe Werk cycle path.
29.
At the T-junction LA follow the Knik.
30.
After 130 meters turn LA onto a dirt road, at the end follow LA along the Japikskampweg canal.
31.
Cross the canal to the right and immediately follow the canal to the right again along the Nosseltweg.
32.
After 580 meters LA Westerhoekweg.
33.
At T-junction LA Penninksbrugweg.
34.
At the T-junction there is a cycle path along Ootmarsumsestraat.
35.
After 310 meters RA Langkampweg.
36.
At the T-junction LA Westerveldweg.
37.
At the T-junction follow RA Schoolstraat.
38.
At the T-junction LA Kerkweg.
39.
At the T-junction RA Ootmarsumsestraat until the control after the church on the right of the road.
40.
Control: Café ten Dam.
41.
40-KM: Follow the cycle path Ootmarsumsestraat to the right. Then continue with point 67.
42.
60-KM: Follow RA Ootmarsumsestraat.
43.
At the roundabout RA Frensdorferweg.
44.
After 350 meters LA Vollenhoekweg.
45.
After 780 meters RA Kerspelweg.
46.
At the intersection after 850 meters RA Ottershagenweg.
47.
After the Dinkel LA Spiekweg (goi dead-end dirt road).
Please note that part of this route can have 600 meters of loose sand in dry weather (so you can walk) but it is a beautiful part of the route. If you want to avoid this, take the Spiekweg after 400 meters RA Binnenbroekweg and after 1.8 km LA Jonkershoesweg, then continue at point 49.
48.
After Dinkelkanaal, follow the cycle path RA, at the end (Domineepad) RD Jonkershoesweg.
49.
At the T-junction RA Jonkershoesweg, continue to follow Hoofdstraat.
50.
LA Vleierweg, at the end after 1.5km RA Komiezendijk.
51.
After 400 meters LA cycle path with cobblestones, at the intersection after 750 meters RA towards Denekamp onto the cycle path.
52.
After 1.6 km, at the slide, cycle path on the RA cycle path along (is) Frensdorferweg, continue on the asphalt road there and continue on the RD.
53.
After 1.5km LA Rammelbeekweg.
54.
RA Elsweg.
55.
T-junction RA Delengoorweg.
56.
T-junction LA Korenmorsweg.
57.
At T-junction RA Johanninksweg.
58.
Before Kanaal, follow the RA cycle path (2.2 km) along the canal, which turns into a normal road.
59.
At the intersection with Lattropperstraat, take the RD cycle path.
60.
After 400 meters at the intersection LA over the bridge is Frensdorferweg.
61.
After 820 meters at the intersection LA Kerkweg.
62.
After 770 meters turn RA into Langepad.
63.
After 100 meters follow RA Kerkepad.
64.
At the T-junction cross and LA Ootmarsumsestraat to the control after 280 meters on the left of the road.
65.
Control: Café ten Dam.
66.
Follow RA Ootmarsumsestraat. Now follow the 40KM route.
67.
40-KM: After 80 meters turn left into the Hunenborgseweg.
68.
LA into Damweg.
69.
After 2.2 km cross the canal and continue to the right and you will reach Schiphorstdijk.
70.
After a while you will pass the watermill at Singraven.
71.
Go over the bridge 200 meters after the gated driveway to the castle RA.
72.
A little later follow the cycle path along the water.
73.
At the T-junction LA is Borgbosweg. There is a bicycle tunnel on the right before the priority road. Cycle via this new bicycle tunnel (Sterrebostunnel) under the Denekamerstraat and continue to follow the RD cycle path.
74.
At the T-junction LA Beuningerstraat. The control is on the right.
75.
Control: Restaurant Het Sterrebos.
76.
With Sterrebos in your back, follow LA Beuningerstraat. Now follow the 25KM route.
77.
25-KM: Roundabout RD is Volterdijk towards Rossum.
78.
After 250 meters RA Matenweg keep left.
79.
In a right-angle bend to the left, continue following the road, which is Holsterheurneweg
80.
Crossing RA Volterdijk, keep going RD and then you are Goorweg.
81.
After a bend to the right, Goorweg turns into a dirt road with a cycle path.
82.
At the end of the LA cycle path is Havezatheweg.
83.
T-junction LA Everlostraat.
84.
After 400 meters LA Molenweg, partly has a cycle path.
85.
Crossing LA Tramweg, turn into cycle path.
86.
Cross at the priority road and turn RD is Paasbergweg.
87.
After 600 meters follow the forest path to the right. Can be wet/muddy but it is a sturdy path.
88.
At the intersection with the orange pole R40, follow the RD forest path. This forest path is bumpy and goes through a stream.
89.
At the end RA is Alleeweg, always follow this road RD, goi Tankenbergweg.
90.
Do not cross at the main road but follow the LA cycle path.
91.
After 250 meters cross to the right and follow RD Kalheupinklaan.
92.
At the end, follow the bend to the right into Haerstraat.
93.
After 650 meters at the intersection RA Prins Bernardstraat. Follow the bend to the left.
94.
At the end at traffic lights LA, under the viaduct.
95.
At the roundabout, take RD Burgemeester Wallerstraat to the end point.
