Today you walk through the beautiful Gorp en Roovert Estate. Here you will find a mosaic of deciduous and coniferous forests, occasionally you pass fields and grasslands. In the hamlet of Gorp you will see some old farms and a monumental hunting lodge. A beautiful place that takes you back in time. All around you will find a beautiful area of deciduous trees and rich undergrowth. Further on, the forests make way for small-scale agricultural land, so you experience a lot of variety. The area around Hilvarenbeek is wonderful to explore on foot. It is beautifully situated between meadows, fields and old farms. Hilvarenbeek's church tower moves along the horizon as you walk. The late Gothic St. Peter's Band Church dates from the fifteenth century.
