Hiking route: 3067714
Provided by: Groots Genieten
Hilvarenbeek is a beautiful old village that you can easily explore on foot. In the countryside you walk past meadows, fields and old farms. You gradually see the church tower of Hilvarenbeek coming closer. You first walk past De Doornboom, the only working flour mill in Hilvarenbeek. The mill dates from 1857. If the wind permits, grinding takes place every Saturday. When the mill is running, it is freely accessible. You walk onto the old Vrijthof, a square that enjoys a protected village view. A beautiful authentic spot, this rectangular lawn with the kiosk. You will see two centuries-old lime trees, several stately mansions and the late Gothic St. Peter's Band Church from the fifteenth century. What a nice atmosphere!
Tour tip; Hiking with kids! Routes up to 5 km are ideal
