Tour of Heusden and Loonse Drunense Duinen

Your route starts in the Loonse & Drunense Duinen National Park, with its beautiful forests and sand drifts. You will pass through Heusden, a fortified town restored in the old style. Take the time to visit this town, thanks to the many centuries-old buildings and fortifications it feels like you are traveling back in time. At the Vismarkt you can enjoy a cup of coffee with apple pie at't Wapen van Heusden. You continue along the Maas. A little later you will pass close to the Haarsteegse Wiel, which was created in 1610 when a dike was breached.
