Tour of Oudenbosch and Pannenhoef

Your route starts at Het Wapen van Nassau in Rucphen. In Bosschenhoofd you will see two interesting national monuments near the railway crossing. At the Markt in Oudenbosch you can visit the Basilica of Saints Agatha and Barbara from 1880. This is a modest copy of St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City. Then you drive past vast meadows to Standdaarbuiten, where you pick up the dike along the Mark Valley. You drive to Etten-Leur via the village of Hoeven and De Toekomst, a flour mill from 1862. Further along your route is the Pannenhoef, a nature reserve of swamp forests, moist meadows and fields. The De Moeren country house dates from 1818. The associated farms are also a delight for the high. Van Gogh painted his first landscapes in the surrounding nature reserve.
