Round Dobbeplas and Wandelbos Laakweg

Put on your hiking boots for a nice trip. After a cup of coffee at Grand Café 1837 you get started. With this route you get to know the varied nature near Nootdorp, between Zoetermeer and Delft. This is how you discover the water features, forest and grasslands around the Dobbeplas, a beautiful recreational area. As you walk along the paved path, you look out over the rippling water. The route forms a figure of eight, so you can stop halfway at your starting point for a snack or drink. After a stopover you will pass through Wandelbos Laakweg, a newly planted forest that belongs to the Bieslandse Bos. You can still see young trees here, there are also swamps and water features. A wonderfully quiet piece of nature, ideal to switch back for a while.
