Tour of Vught and Bossche Broek

Your route starts at Camperplaats Den Bosch. From here you make a nice round through Vught and the Bossche Broek. You soon become acquainted with a special feature of Den Bosch: just south of the center you can walk straight into this nature reserve. The Bossche Broek is a polder area that will develop into the swamp area that it was almost four centuries ago in the coming years. You cross the Singelgracht, the fortress moat that flows into the Dommel, among other things. From the path you have a beautiful view of the fortress walls and the buildings behind. You will also pass Fort Isabella, a defensive structure that originally dates from 1618. You walk along a leafy path along the drainage canal of Den Bosch back to your starting point.
