Tour of Vught and Loonse Drunense Duinen

Your route starts at Camperplaats Den Bosch. First you drive through the city for a beautiful view of the Bossche Broek from the Singelgracht, the fortress canal that flows into the Dommel. Then you drive through the Bossche Broek, which is increasingly turning into the swamp area of almost four centuries ago. Get off in cozy Vught! The highlight of the route is the Loonse & Drunense Duinen National Park, with its beautiful forests and sand drifts. In the damp parts you see willows, poplars and vast wet grasslands. Conifers predominate on the dry lands. This route also takes you along the northern edge. In the nice little Giersbergen time seems to have stood still a bit. This hamlet consists almost entirely of thatched, long-gable farmhouses.
