Tour of the Valleikanaal near Leusden

Your route starts at Mon-Chouette, a tea house located in a converted farm in the middle of the beautiful green hinterland of Leusden. Centrally located in the Netherlands with the city of Amersfoort around the corner. Today you will see that this rural area just east of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug is also very worthwhile. You walk a long way along the Valleikanaal, which you also look out on from the tea house. Once back you can sit down for something tasty, you're probably hungry by now. Good to know: the kitchen uses local, regional and fair trade products. You can enjoy homemade cakes, with a really good tea, or a tasty lunch. A complete day out!
