Round Loon on Zand and Almkerk

From your starting point you drive through nature to the village of Loon op Zand, which is named after the Loonse en Drunense Duinen. You make a nice loop through this. In addition to the famous drifting dunes, this national park also offers vast moors and quiet forests. From the cozy Waalwijk you cycle to the Land van Heusden and Altena, via a crossing with the ferry Capelle-Dussen. Get off a little further on at Brasserie de Laegt in rural Almkerk! Huis Babyloniënbroek is also a beautiful sight on your route. The cellar vault, the oldest part of the house, was only discovered during the 1975 restoration. The foundations date from the second half of the fourteenth century and are still clearly visible.
