Start of the route
You can also start in Wolfach, but long-term parking is not free in Wolfach. The parking spaces at the church of Oberwolfach-Walke are spacious and free. In the immediate vicinity there are some excellent restaurants, where you can dine afterwards.
Wolfach
From Oberwolfach you can easily cycle to Wolfach. The route descends slightly. Wolfach is a small town, with a beautiful main street. From there it goes to Kirnbach
Kirnbach
The village of Kirnbach is not a central village, but consists of scattered residential areas. Kirnbach is best known for its red (and black) bowler hats. The route climbs quite a bit at times until the Grafenloch exit. When you reach the top you will come to an open plateau. The road after that descends slightly.
Mooswaldkopf
Just before Fohrenbühl there is the possibility to turn off to the viewpoints at Mooswaldkopf. Here you can enjoy a good lunch if you wish. The tower can be climbed for a fee.
Then you descend back to the route.
Fohrenbuhl
From Fohrenbühl the road goes quite steep (19%) to Hornberg.
Hornberg
Hornbach is an old town, known from a German proverb."das geht aus wie Hornberger Schiessen\\\". ( Hornberger Schießen ).
Gutach
In Gutach is the regional Open Air Museum.
