Tour of Oudenbosch and Bosschenhoofd

Your route starts at Gastel Atmosphere. Around Oudenbosch you can take a varied cycle tour through old hamlets and villages. Brabant may be known for its extensive forests, but in this part of the province you mainly drive through a vast polder landscape with streams and rivers. First you drive past vast meadows towards Stampersgat, where you cycle for a while on the dike along the Markvallei to Standdaarbuiten. At the Oudenbosch Market you can visit the Basilica of Saints Agatha and Barbara from 1880. This is a modest copy of St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City. In Bosschenhoofd you will see two interesting national monuments near the railway crossing. The former Seppe Station dates from 1855, the NS staff house just before it was built around 1920.
