Steep walking route Delftse Hout and Balijbos

This brisk walk shows that you can also be active outdoors! This route introduces you to the varied nature between Zoetermeer and Delft. This way you can discover the water features, forests and grasslands around the Dobbeplas. In the Bieslandse Bos you will find a variety of swamp forests and fields where Galloway cattle and Icelandic horses graze. You will also pass through the Delftse Hout city park, where the Grote Plas is located. In the Balijbos you see many beech, ash and alder trees. In part of this area, nature is allowed to take its own course. The nature reserves flow beautifully into each other.
