Description
This walk takes you through Vinkeveen and Waverveen. Around these towns you walk through a well-intact peat landscape. An area where you enjoy the silence and panoramic views.
Vinkeveen
You walk through a characteristic street of old buildings and farms, straight ditches, bridges and majestic trees. You will also see the Dutch Reformed Church with its typical 1930s architectural style. Further on you walk on the Ringdijk along the willows, and you see many boats floating on the water.
Waverveen
In the countryside you look out over wide fields. Along the ditch the reed collars wave in the wind. It is nice and quiet here, ideal for getting a breath of fresh air and clearing your head. A great way to relax. You walk across the dike to Waverveen, a beautiful ribbon village. Here you will see, among other things, the Reformed Church from 1887.
