E-bike route Vinkeveen and Hilversum

Your route starts at Restaurant De Egelshoek. This route takes you through the varied nature between Weesp and Hilversum in North Holland. You will experience a wonderful cycling day here, because you ride along large open lakes and through beautiful forests. You will also pass through some old towns where cosiness and cultural history go hand in hand. Part of the route takes you along the Ankeveense Plassen and the Naardermeer. Here you see reed beds, swamp forests and of course water, lots and lots of water. The Naardermeer is one of the few natural lakes in the Netherlands. At the edge of the lake you will pass mill De Onrust, a polder mill dating from 1809. The mill is still used by Natuurmonumenten to regulate the water level of the lake.
