From here you cycle straight through the Veluwe forests to Harderwijk. On the way you will discover Klein Boeschoten, a private estate. The estate is freely accessible to hikers and limited to cyclists. Here you can still see the original layout of the medieval gamekeeping estate, formerly owned by the Counts of Gelre. You also cycle over the Groevenbeekse Heide, which is part of the Oud Groevenbeek estate. It is known for its burial mounds, but there are also many fens to be found. In Harderwijk you can have a drink at Beach Hotel Monopole. A little later you cycle into the Sprielderbos, one of the oldest forests in the Netherlands. In the middle of the forest you will come across Drie, a centuries-old picturesque hamlet.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
