Lookout tower "de Zeven" at Ravenswoud from Boscamping Langeloërduinen in Norg

Along the way you will get to know the ancient Norgerholt and the beautiful green village of Westervelde. A short stretch on the busy road that turns into a cycle path to Veenhuizen. In Veenhuizen you cross the road and drive through the woods to the Fochteloërveen. One of the few raised moor areas in the Netherlands. You can enjoy this special landscape via a shell path. At the end, turn left towards the watchtower. With a bit of luck you can see the highlanders paddling in the distance. The beautiful cycle path goes through the high moor area through the woods of Ravenswoud to the watchtower, which is known for its special architecture. You cycle back via the edge of the Fochteloërveen to Veenhuizen. From Veenhuizen the route goes through a beautiful lock with a covered bench back to Norg.
