Tour of Deventer, Bathmen and Gorssel

After crossing the IJssel on a ferry, you cycle through the Wilper Klei. In this floodplain area you will see some old farms standing on a mound. Just past junction 16 you will see Deventer appear on the horizon. In the center of this Hanseatic city you will see plenty of beautiful monumental buildings. Step off for a moment to enjoy the historic atmosphere. You can drive out of the city at your leisure. At junction 7 you pick up the cycle path that runs along the banks of the Schipbeek. Here it is nice and quiet to cycle to Bathmen. Around junction 29 you cycle along the park forest that belongs to Landgoed Dorth. Around Joppe you drive through the woods back to Gorssel. The route ends with a meal at restaurant'T Elf Uur.
