Description
In Meijendel between nodes 44 and 40 you can make a stopover at the restaurant. Along the way in the dunes there are countless stopping places (dune pans) for a picnic or coffee break. Sniff the sea and dune air and enjoy the wide views.
The dunes are a good workout for the thigh muscles.
At node 4 (just before Leiden) you will find'Corpus\\\', a visit to this museum is highly recommended. Leiden has many museums. Museum Boerhaave is highly recommended for the'brain pan\\\'.
The warning given about a bicycle ferry is crazy!! THERE IS NO pontoon AT ALL ON THE ROUTE.
