Forgotten cycle paths of Chaam

The Fietsallee was opened in 2020. An 11 kilometer long super smooth and wide route straight through the Chaam-Ulvenhout forestry. 

With the opening of the Fietsallee, the old, narrow cycle paths that were constructed in the 1950s and 1960s were closed. But they are still there, hidden deep in the woods. Follow this adventurous and exceptionally peaceful route, crisscrossing nature in search of the remaining strips of asphalt and overgrown paved paths. 

NB. The cycle paths are generally passable, but the first tens of meters of pavement have been removed, as have junctions and signposts. 

Every now and then you cross the bicycle allee. Pay close attention to tree roots and loose tiles. Enter at your own risk!
