Tour of Bird Boulevard and Dunes of Texel

Do you like nature, especially birds? Then you're in the right place on Texel. The island even has a real bird boulevard on the Wadden Sea, with numerous viewpoints! Your route starts at EuroParcs De Koog. On Texel you will find several streets full of beautiful historic buildings. The Hogereind in De Waal is such a street. In any case, De Waal already has a special history: the village was located by the sea until 1613... After the Waalenburg polder was drained, it was located in the middle of Texel. You cycle via the lovely Den Burg to the Vogelboulevard along the Wadden Sea. Here you will find many bird watching huts, just like in the dunes between't Horntje and Den Hoorn. You also drive through the Dunes of Texel National Park, a nice change of dunes and forest.
